Colt .38 Double Action Revolver with early antique serial number in the 13,000 range.  6" round barrel with checkered hard rubber grips, and blued finish.  Barrel address has excellent markings with 1884, 1888, and 1895 patent dates.  Overall condition is NRA Antique Excellent with 85% frame and cylinder blue while barrel retains 95% blue.  Front sight has been slimmed down somewhat, otherwise, all original.  Grips are in excellent condition with nice metal fit except for some slight undersizing along the buttstrap.  Nice action and an excellent bore.  Nice example of an early antique Colt DA.
