This is a good solid pair of early Colt 1911 checkered walnut grips with the early diamond pattern. Got these out of a parts box of an 89-year-old former US Marine who served during the Korean War. They are in good condition with Good checkering...one slight chip off the bottom edge of the left panel. These were used on the Colt 1911 from 1912 until the early 1920's. Judging from the wear, these most likely came off of a military 1911 from the First World War. I like these old worn ones that have never had their original checkering re-cut. Shows character and history!
