Colt New Line Revolver in .41 Caliber

This is a decent example of a Colt New Line Revolver in caliber .41 Center Fire. Serial number is in the 5,600 range. All matching numbers. Made in 1876. Overall, NRA Antique Good+ Condition. Metal has worn to mostly a silver gray patina with small areas of original nickel plating in the cylinder flutes, and protected areas such as behind the recoil shield all around the sideplate. Traces of original fire blue on the back face of the hammer and on the grip screw. Original grips are Very Good with 65% original varnish remaining. No cracks, chips, or repairs. Good working action and bore. These .41 New Lines are the most sought after caliber by collectors in comparison to the other New Lines in .22, .30, .32, and .38 calibers. A nice example of a scarce and desirable gun we're pricing for well under what most other examples bring in the marketplace.
