This is a unique design of a palm pistol called the "protector." Mfd 1891-1892 by Minneapolis Firearms Company. According to Flaydermans Guide to Antique Guns, 9th edition, these were actually built by James Duckworth of Springfield, MA. page 496 it features a 7-shot cylinder which is really more like a rotating turret. Caliber is 32 CF, nickel plated with hard rubber grips.
Overall condition is NRA Antique Good with 60% original nickel. The balance is a silvery gray with scattered pitting due to poor storage. Both hard rubber grips are intact, but the left side has a small crack. All matching number in the 2500 serial range. Good working mechanics. Could use a good cleaning internally. We rarely see these for under $2K. While not in the best condition, this is a good solid example for half the price!
