This is an early tip-up S&W 1 1/2, 2nd Issue Pocket Revolver in Caliber .32 Rimfire. Overall, its in NRA Antique Excellent Plus condition. The frame has 98% bright shiny original blue. Cylinder shows 90-95% bright original blue with some minor loss due to flaking, not wear. The barrel, typical of many early Smith and Wessons also shows flaking with 70-75% bright blue remaining. If not for the flaking, this revolver would be in near Mint condition as it shows very little usage. Rosewood grips are nearly perfect and show 97-98% original piano varnish. Hammer, ejector rod, and trigger show much of their original case colors. All screws and pins are perfect and have never been turned or disturbed. The barrel hinge is the tightest I've ever seen...just like new. Bore is mint and the action works flawlessly. This is a fantastic example of the Model 1 1/2 and wouldn't be easy to improve upon.
