Smith and Wesson DA Pocket Revolver

This is a 4th Model S&W Double Action Revolver in .32 S&W with 3 1/2" barrel.  Pre-1898 Antique Serial number is in the 119,000 range.  This one was probably mfd around 1887-88 as the patent dates on the barrel only go up to 1882 and must have been made prior to S&W's 1889 patent.  Usually you find these with Nickel finish but this one is in the scarcer blued variation.  Overall condition is NRA Antique Fine with 85% original blue on the frame. All matching numbers on Cylinder shows approximately 70% blue that is strong in the flutes and thinning on the outer circumference with the exception spot where the gun must have rested on its side and picked up some lightly textured corrosion.  The Barrel shows 70% original blue with some holster wear to the right side. Strong traces of original case colors on hammer and trigger. Original front sight and ejector star still have nearly all of their original nickel finish. Yes, S&W used these nickel plated components on all of their blued pocket DA's.  Checkered hard rubber grips are in excellent condition with S&W monograms.  No chips, cracks, or repairs.  Action works perfectly with perfect barrel to frame lock-up. Bore is in Mint condition.
